Meet Boglarka

I’m Boglarka Szabo, a Clinical Hypnotherapist with a university degree in Psychology. I work with people who want to understand and change patterns that feel difficult to shift on their own, whether that shows up as anxiety, unhelpful habits, low confidence, or emotional reactions that feel automatic, particularly in close relationships. My approach focuses on hypnotherapy as a practical method of working with the subconscious mind, where many of these learned patterns are formed.
If you landed here, you are probably looking for support with something that feels difficult to change or understand. I want to start by saying that whatever you are experiencing, you are not alone, and I hope you will find the therapist who feels right for you, whether that ends up being me or someone else.

As humans, we are emotional beings, yet we try to solve most of our problems with logic alone and then feel surprised when it doesn’t work. The brain learns from past experiences and creates shortcuts to help us cope. However, what worked in the past is not always applicable to the present, yet the mind can continue using those automatic patterns by default.
This can show up in many ways, such as habits that feel hard to change, anxiety that appears without a clear reason, or reactions that seem stronger than the situation itself. These patterns often operate on a subconscious level, which is the area hypnotherapy is used for.
Although there are different areas I work with that you can explore further in the Services section, the main focus in my work is emotional reactivity in relationships.
Maybe you have promised yourself to act differently, yet the same pattern keeps returning. You might find yourself lying awake replaying conversations, feeling your reaction was bigger than the situation, overthinking what your partner meant by something they said, or feeling limited by patterns connected to your attachment style.

Many people are already aware of their patterns. They notice their reactions, their overthinking, or the habits they want to change, yet understanding this logically does not necessarily change the response itself. Hypnotherapy focuses on the level where these automatic reactions are learned and repeated, working with the associations and meanings that keep a pattern in place and where change can happen.
